CLIENT INFORMATION SHEET
Thank you for choosing TTS Teachers’ Tutoring Service. This page has important information about our policies.
- The TTS hourly rate is $53.00 for one to one tutoring whether in the client’s home, mutually agreed upon alternate location, or online. Each session is a minimum of 1 hour.
- Payment to the tutor is by cash, cheque or e-transfer at the start of each session. Cheques should be made out to the tutor. A receipt will be issued by the tutor on request.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: TTS tutors must be given 24 hours’ advance notice of cancellation or the hourly fee will be payable to the tutor.
- Conferences with the classroom teacher will be billed as instructional time. The rate is $53.00 per hour.
- Consultation with your tutor must bescheduled in advance and will be billed at the hourly rate.
- Preparation (non-instructional) time will not be billed to the client unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Clients will supply the basic materials, such as textbooks and stationery. Clients, after consultation with the tutor, will be responsible for any extra materials required.
- Please inform the TTS office within 48 hours after tutoring begins with a new tutor.
