BC certified High School tutors
Most of our high school tutors are B.C. Certified teachers, with experience teaching in the school system and familiarity with the contents of the BC curriculum. If they are not certified teachers, they have a relevant graduate degree and subject matter expertise. We only work with professional and qualified tutors.

How much is a high school tutor?
At TTS, we offer affordable tutoring services for you and your family. Our classes can be in-person (at the student home, library, etc.) or online. Tutors are available throughout Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond and the rest of Metro Vancouver. Tutors may offer online tutoring, and/or in person tutoring in the student’s home, in libraries, or other arrangements may be available. The cost for high school tutoring is as it follows:
No commitments or contracts
With TTS, you are not required to commit to any number of lessons, nor do we require you to sign a contract. It is a pay as you go system. You pay for each lesson when it takes place.
Our tutors are available to help with both short term needs (as short as one session) as well as ongoing tutoring, for those students looking for help for a semester or a school year.

Cost of tutoring broken down
TTS is a non profit society – as such, our goal is to provide you with affordable, high quality tutoring, while minimizing cost. The bulk of the $53/hr hourly rate is paid to the tutor, while a small portion covers off TTS administration and staffing charges.
Additionally, a portion of the tutoring rate is donated to TAS Tutoring Aid Society. TAS is our registered BC charity that provides subsidized tutoring services to students that wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford tutoring.
