Our rate is $55/hr per hour for 1 student and $65 per hour for 2 students. Group rates are available.

No, tutoring is mostly online or in the client’s home, although some of our tutors will tutor in their own homes or at a mutual location such as a library (please note we have limited availability for in-person tutoring).
Yes. Many of our tutors are available during the summer.
Yes, they are. Our tutors have education degrees and/or a master’s degree or PhD related to their teaching subjects.
Most of our tutors are teaching full or part-time, or are teachers on call. Some are retired.
Yes. All of our tutors are required to do this before joining our service.
Yes. We also tutor students who are home-schooled or who are taking online courses.
Yes, we work with ICBC, Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) – Autism Funding Programs, First Nations Bands and other funding organizations. They provide funds to us for our tutors work and you do not have to pay the tutors directly.
You pay the tutor directly, at the beginning of each session, by cash or cheque.
No. Tutors are paid on a session by session basis. Please find some useful information about our policies here: Client Information Sheet.
If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, at least 24 hours notice must be given or the hourly fee will be charged.
In-person tutors usually travel to client’s home, but not always. The client or tutor may prefer a place/venue like a nearby public library or community center. Please discuss directly with your tutor to choose the place that is best for both parties.

You will have the opportunity to correspond with the tutors and choose which one is right for your student and your family schedule. Each tutor contact sent to you has a brief biography to give you an idea of the tutor’s qualifications and experience. Tutors are qualified to teach in BC, have tutoring experience and a good knowledge of the curriculum.
